Dear Families of The Canadian School of Warsaw,
First of all, we would like to thank you for your impressive generosity in providing all the wonderful gifts for orphan children in Ukraine. Very soon they will be delivered to their home just in time for Christmas. Thank you once more!
December is a time of reflection, when we look back on the past year or years and think of what we have managed to achieve. For us at The Canadian School this is always a time of joy, as we see that with every year we grow bigger and stronger.
We continue to build on our successes of the past. We keep on updating our Computer Lab. Over the last year, teachers completed a survey of our curriculum to ensure that our program of study remains rigorous and continues to prepare our students for success in high school and beyond.
With the coming of the second semester, we will begin work to proceed in our IBO accreditation status. Many of you may be asked to serve on committees to evaluate the international identity, the school climate, and governance of our school. This self-study process will be an excellent tool to help us evaluate our school's strengths and find ways to address our weaknesses.
We have a faculty made up of the finest teachers in any international school. We have a staff that is dedicated to making this school the best it can be. We have parents who are encouraging, supportive, and generous with their time, talent, and treasure. We have students who are hard-working, dedicated, respectful and kind.
At this time of year, it is fitting to pause and to reflect on the abundance we have received. For all that you do, not just at Christmas, but year-round to support and encourage, for all the kindness and generosity that you show to us here at The Canadian School please accept our most profound and sincere gratitude and appreciation.
