Halloween
October 15th, 2007
Dear Parents,
Halloween is getting closer.
As usually, our School will celebrate it with a parade and lots of candies. This year Halloween will take place on Wednesday, October 31st. Children should wear costumes and be prepared for ‘scary activities at school’.
We are asking parents to provide the school with two bags of candies (not the hard kind, please) and medium size pumpkin by October 26th.
Teachers will collect the candies and pumpkins.
Children will use them for ‘trick or treating’. We plan to visit two or three local businesses with our Halloween parade.
During Art classes children will decorate ‘trick or treat’ bags. Please make sure children bring old signed paper gift bags by Monday, October 22nd.
At the same time I would like to point out that we also celebrate the Polish All Saint’s Day. Children will have lessons and discussions on that subject.
The school will be open till 3 o’clock and there will be no extra activities on Halloween Day, as each year, because children will be very tired after a very active day.
With best regards,
Emilia Fronc
