Dear Parents!
I would like to warmly welcome you in a new school year of 2007/2008.
There is a year of mutual meetings and undertakings ahead of us. I am pleased having the possibility to teach your children and cooperate with you. I hope it will be a pleasure to us and our work will give good results.
We will certainly learn a lot from each other. Each of your proposals regarding organization or attractiveness of classes is welcome. We are realizing common aims – educate and raise a child and prepare it for life. I would like to invite you to participate in organizing tours, parties and events. With your help it will be a success.
I place pupils, their integral development and unaided construction of knowledge by them, in the center of my educational activity. My method of work with children is based on a conviction that education through entertainment and personal experience is effective. It is enough to observe children playing board games or at the playground. They do it for their pleasure mainly, but doing it they learn how to act in a group, rules of co-operation, tactics and strategy. In my work with children I mainly use the method of projects which is inter-subject, integrated education developing integral pupils' outlook. It creates favorable conditions to form features of character that are desirable in modern society, such as sensitivity, empathy and responsibility. Therefore, following the previous years, we will use books by Joanna Białobrzeska published by “Didasko” - of series “Ala i Adam” in Grade 1 and of series “Ja, Ty – My” in Grades 3 and 4.
In order to make absorption and use of knowledge easier for children, together with the main program, we will be realizing elements of the psychological education program for grades 2 – 4 „Ja jestem sobą i ty jesteś sobą” by Nory Grochowska and Renata Gugnacka. Children will learn about mechanisms of behavior, emotions and feelings and how to cope with oneself and others.
