Dear Parents,
My name is Joanna Rechnio-Haciuk and this is my fourth year of being a member of The Canadian School of Warsaw’ s community.
Coming from a family of educators, passion for teaching must have run in my blood. I enjoy every activity that stimulates learning of my preschoolers, from doing yoga, ballet, singing, role –playing in the classroom to discovering science through gardening and doing experiments. A preschool teacher without doubts has to have distance to herself, be creative, multi-skilled and genuine in everything she undertakes.
I have acquired necessary skills studying Early Years Education in both English and French at the University of Warsaw and turning my knowledge into practice in one of London’s preparatory schools where I had worked for 3 years.
However, participating in three Primary Years Programme’s workshops (IBO) enabled me to discover each child’s potential and turn it into a lifelong learning. As a pedagogical leader in the preschool I make sure that every day a child is stimulated to develop her/his skills, attitudes and knowledge.
Best regards,
Joanna Rechnio-Haciuk
